Catherine H. Gettys

Senior Associate/Director of Marketing/Business Development

Cathy began her career in professional services marketing in 1988. She has experience in all levels of the industry from her first position as marketing assistant to her current one as H&A’s director of marketing and business development. She was attracted to H&A by the firm’s entrepreneurial leadership and continued growth during recent tough economic times.

Cathy feels that communications, both internally and externally, are the cornerstones of a successful firm and, buoyed by the company’s commitment, encourages constant collaboration among the marketing team. Strategic marketing is another passion and she believes strongly that forming the plan is as important as executing it.

During her career, Cathy has been actively involved in the Society of American Military Engineers and Associated Builders and Contractors among other industry organizations. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in political science with an emphasis on urban planning from the University of Georgia.
