Robert B. McAtee, PE
Vice President/Mechanical Department Head
Rob began his career at H&A in 2003 as a senior mechanical engineer with responsibilities in energy efficiency and sustainable design. Rob launched H&A’s Building Sciences Studio that same year to provide advanced analytical services and simulations to the firm’s current and potential clients. Today, the Building Sciences Studio embodies an assertive approach to determining how a building will perform while meeting federal energy mandates in creative and low-cost ways.
Rob graduated from the University of Virginia in 1991 with a bachelors in mechanical engineering.
