Stafford County Redevelopment Master Plan

The Stafford County Redevelopment Master Plan focuses on the analysis of four currently isolated but growing areas of Stafford County, Virginia, comprising 3,635 acres. For this project, the firm’s challenge was to build on elements of the County’s existing comprehensive plan, analyzing the current demographic, historical context, emerging trends, and development changes, as well as shifts in the economy, to create a new synergy and vision.

The redevelopment master plan addresses a strategic plan for zoning, infrastructure, road and streetscape development opportunities, and urban development concepts. This project included extensive work with community workshops and visioning, focus groups, and visual preference surveys.
