Marriott Hotel and Conference Center

The Marriott Hotel and Conference Center was a long-awaited addition to the successful City Center at Oyster Point in Newport News, Virginia. The building has played a significant factor in the economic development of the district.

H&A planned and designed the 11-story, 205,000 square-foot building as metropolitan hotel and conference center to in accordance with the superb design standards of the Marriott legacy. The structure features 256 deluxe guest rooms, as well as a 42,000 square-foot conference center. A centrally-located grand rotunda marks a perfect transition from the outdoor plaza area, cleverly marrying the 5-acre circular fountain to the interior.

The Marriott Hotel and Conference Center at Oyster Point promises market stability and a bright future for the region.
