iXL Regional Headquarters

Internet consultant iXL merged and expanded operations in the Richmond area and wanted H&A to create a dynamic 60,000 square foot facility for their new regional headquarters.

In creating a signature three-story building for the client, H&A developed a scheme that contrasts high-tech industrial materials with the warmth of natural materials and the environment.

Two corkscrew staircases build upon the universal curvilinear design while exotic conference rooms draw on different regional geographic characteristics – mountain, sea, desert and polar. A community room, fitness center, game room, nap room, and a 24-hour bar give employees an opportunity to renew their spirits and exchange ideas.
