New Embassy Compound, Khartoum, Sudan

The 195,903 square foot embassy compound in Khartoum includes a new office building, compound access controls, a warehouse building, and a new office annex. The H&A/PageSoutherlandPage design team worked together to navigate the intricate international design-build arena to support the construction effort and maintain project continuity. The compound design includes extensive force protection measures for a secure environment. It is the first foreign embassy sited along the Nile River, setting the standard of excellence for future nation’s embassies.
