New Embassy Compound, Lusaka, Zambia

H&A provided engineering design services for the design-build of a new $75 million compound on a 4.97 hectare site in Lusaka, Zambia. The 473,612 square foot compound includes a new office building, utility building, warehouse/support annex, Marine security guard quarters, compound access control, and compound recreational facility. The buildings and the site were designed in accordance with Department of State security and code requirements and the LEED Green Building Rating System for certification. The design-build team included B.L. Harbert International and Einhorn, Yaffee, Prescott (EYP).
