  • H&A Announces New Certified Lighting Efficiency Professional

    Virginia-based architecture/engineering (A/E) firm, H&A Architects & Engineers (H&A) announces its only Certified Lighting Efficiency Professional (CLEP), Brenda Kliesen, EIT.

     

    Kliesen, an electrical engineer at the company headquarters in Glen Allen, is now recognized as a leader in the field of lighting efficiency with the CLEP certification. She demonstrates high levels of experience in the development and implementation of effective lighting efficiency solutions within the commercial, industrial, institutional and governmental market sectors.

     

    The Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) offers the CLEP program, along with a full array of other informational programs, seminars and conferences, “to promote the scientific and educational interests of those engaged in the energy industry and to foster action for sustainable development.”

     

    Kliesen is also Lighting Certified (LC) through the National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions (NCQLP), and is a LEED AP BD+C (Building Design + Construction) professional, through the Green Building Certification Institution (GBCI).

     

    She has been with H&A for eight years.
