Commissioning

H&A has multiple certified commissioning agents (CxA’s) that are also registered professional engineers.

Capabilities include:

• New construction: fundamental and enhanced commissioning for LEED certification
• Existing buildings: retro/re-commissioning
• Continuous commissioning: allows owners to continually monitor and address shortfalls in building performance through the use of advanced metering systems
• Envelope commissioning

Energy Audits

At H&A, our energy audits are led by certified energy managers (CEM's) who are also registered professional engineers. We provide different levels of audits ranging from simple, preliminary reviews all the way to investment-grade audits utilizing trending and whole-building energy simulations.

These levels are described by ASHRAE as Level I through Level III audits.

Energy Metering Assistance

Many of our clients have a difficult time quantifying their energy usage because they have only building-level (or in some cases, compound-level) meters. H&A assists owners in setting up easy-to-use systems that enable building owners and operators to quickly view system performance through graphical dashboards. In many cases, simply having a building’s energy and water usage displayed in a prominent location can lead to increased awareness and significant savings.
